really cool digital work!

i might be going to SVA myself, and i wanted to ask firsthand, how you like it and what a financially poor kid like me can expect if i can afford to go there. :D

Thank you!
I absolutely love SVA, it far exceeded my expectations. I'm poor too, and they try very hard to work you your financial aid and they do have quite a few grants and scholarships available.
Basically, it's amazing.
high-five for paupers! :D
I figured SVA would be amazing for its art, city, and working artists/faculty so that's why it was my first choice- it still sort of is- if I can manage to be there. I'm also leaning towards SAIC in chicago right now 'cause they have given me scholarship and it's relatively affordable to be there. going to a big city is relatively intimidating for me, so some of the schools i'm still considering are not in a city like NYC. CCS, MIAD, Otis, and SAIC. also UC DAAP, if they still have space for me since i didn't deposit (my major is very competitive for spots right now, so i assume that i lost it already).

although my intended major is illustration/advertisting/graphic design, is there any words of wisdom about going there and what to expect? housing issues? food? work vs. play time?
